With the new application, students will be able to register for updates they want to receive.
The Mumbai University (MU) is set to have its own mobile application
soon, which will not only inform students about old and new courses, but
will also provide details of exam timetables, results and status of
re-evaluation results.
The Android-based mobile application will be an authorised university
application and will be provided free of cost. Officials claimed it
would help provide certain facilities such as downloading circulars and
notifications on their phones and will be available to students at
their fingertips.
With the new application, students will be able to register for
updates they want to receive. It will be launched before the next
academic year.
“The scenario of higher education in our country is changing rapidly,
so are the needs of the society. To match the two and resolve issues
with latest technology, we have decided to introduce this application.
The application will be launched soon,” said Dr Naresh Chandra, university Pro Vice-Chancellor.
